Conall qualified as a Sports Therapist from London Metropolitan University in 2002 and then as a Chartered Physiotherapist from Sheffield Hallam University in 2008. He gained a post graduate qualification in Acupuncture/ Dry Needling in 2011 and has prescribed specialist orthotics since 2012. He engages in continuous clinical education and updating of skills and knowledge.
Conall has accumulated vast experience over his career having practiced extensively in both public hospitals and private practice in the UK and Ireland. Having spent his earlier years working in sport and private clinics, he then moved on to working in large acute hospitals in the UK. There he worked closely with numerous Consultant Specialists and Doctors.
Following this, he worked in lower limb Orthopaedic triage clinics, directing patients into surgery, particularly for Knee Arthroscopies, Total Hip Replacement and Total Knee Replacement. He also underwent postgraduate training in Custom Foot Orthotic prescription.
On his return to West Cork he spent over six years working in Bantry General Hospital, working closely with Consultants and their teams. He also worked as a Specialist HSE Community Physiotherapist and as a Specialist HSE Paediatrics Physiotherapist, before opening his own practice, the Physio & Foot Clinic, in 2021.
He now practices out of two medical centres in Bantry and Schull and continues to work closely with GPs all across West Cork.
